Started in 1980, the Mid Coast Dairy Advancement Group - or 'DAGs' - was founded to support the farmers who sought to improve themselves and their farms through innovation, education and collaboration: to have a farmer-led association dedicated to their 'advancement'. The Association continues to support our dairy farmers on the Mid North Coast through industry liaison, farmer led micro-groups and youth - our next generation of farmers.
We want to thank our community for their support during the 2025 Flood and long recovery period. Your thoughts and contribution to recovery are appreciated more than you can imagine! We have received so many queries asking how you can support the dairy farmers, here are just a few: - Donations can be made through Mid Coast Dairy Advancement Group for our farmers: we are a registered NSW incorporated association, not for profit and farmer-volunteer led organisation. All donations are managed by our Management Committee with transparency, held accountable by our mission and our members. Unlike platforms such as GoFundMe, there are no platform admin fees. For non-card donations, please email admin@midcoastdags.com.au - GIVIT for physical and monetary donations to support everyone, farmer or not, impacted by the floods **IF YOU'RE A FARMER, PLEASE EMAIL admin@midcoastdags.com.au to register for GIVIT support options** - Other organisations that have consistently shown up for our farmers through drought, fires, and floods: - Farm Angels (previously Drought Angels) is a registered charitable organisation - Taree Lions Club secretary.tareelions@gmail.com - Work parties: if you are local and want to help by pitching in you can email us at admin@midcoastdags.com.au and let us know how to contact you and what work you are able to do, and we'll be in touch |
